I can't believe it's already December! This year has truly flown by! It's also time for another Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week and I'm up on the blog today with a couple of layouts showcasing the new "Stitched Circle" dies! These dies are FABULOUS!! I LOVE that there are so many stacking sizes of these!!
For this layout, I cut out four of the big stitched circles on different pattern papers. I placed them in the middle part of my white cardstock and then layered a piece of handcut vellum over top. I placed strips of corresponding pattern paper on the bottom and top of the white card stock. I used the scripty "joy" die and cut a bunch of them out and placed them at the bottom and stitched them down. Lastly, I filled in each of the big circles: a picture, journaling, my title and a flair badge and sequins.
For this layout, I layered a piece of pattern paper, kraft card stock, and another piece of pattern paper cut in smaller blocks. I rounded the edges of the top pattern paper. I cut out a bunch of stitched circles and placed nine of them in a grid pattern. I stitched these all down with vertical and horizontal stitches using my sewing machine. I placed a picture in three of the circles and cut the pictures using the stitched circle dies. I layered some of them with more pattern paper cut using the dies; and on two of them, I cut down some of the 3x4 cards using the dies and then stitched around the yellow heart. I cut my title out using my Silhouette Cameo and used the "Honeyscript" font.
And as always, make sure to check out the blog for other inspiration from the rest of the team! They always knock it out of the park!
Good Morning and welcome back to another installment of Elle's Studio Project kits! Once again, I fell in love with the digital cut files and used the "JOY" cut file on my layout along with one of the little trees :-)
I cut out a bunch of the "joy" text files and layered them on my white card-stock and then stitched them down using my sewing machine. The white card-stock was layered on top of a piece of red pattern paper. I also stitched down two strips from the bottom of the pattern paper at the bottom of the layout. I layered a couple of the cards that were included in this month's kit and stacked my pictures on top. I also layered the see-through card that was included in this month's kit and stitched it down and placed a little heart over the top using a foam dot. I wrote my journaling on another card and tucked in into the left hand side of the photo. My title was placed underneath and stitched down. To balance all tht bottom elements out, I created a small embellishment bundle up near the top of the layout as well.
