Here is my second layout for this week's inspiration week on Lawn Fawn Blog! I created this layout using the new "Pink Lemonade" collection.
I layered blocks of pattern paper on a piece of white cardstock and stitched it down. I wanted a big title at the bottom part of my layout and used the "Hello" cut from my Silhouette. I used the narrators to create my subtitle under the die-cut "Hello'. I used two pictures I took with my iPhone and placed them at the top. I scattered die-cut hearts around the layout and layered some of them. Lastly, I placed some enamel dots on the hearts.
I was asked by the lovely Veronica of Chic Tags to make some projects using her new items that debuted at the Winter CHA this year and here are the first couple of layouts I have made using them. The tags are super versatile and can be used in a variety of different ways.
Thanks for letting me play with these fun new goodies, Veronica!
Hello! This layout was created for the March Inspiration Week on the Lawn Fawn blog! We are highlighting the new collection "Daphne's Closet" today and I had fun working with a lot of the pattern papers and stickers in this new collection :-)
To create this layout, I backed the kraft cardstock with a piece of 12x12 pattern paper. I lightly penciled in the diagonal lines on the kraft paper and used my sewing machine to stitch them in. After stitching them in, I erased the lines. This created a fun, textured background to work on :-) I took strips of pattern paper and made long banner strips in the upper left hand corner. I stapled some Lawn Fawn Trimmings across the top and then folded stickers over the twine and stapled into place. Then, I layered a couple of sheets from the 6x6 paper pad and placed my photo on top. My title was placed on the negative space of my photo with the grapefruit Narrators and I stapled a loosely wadded up piece of trimmings under the corner of the photo. I stuck a couple of stickers into the lower right hand corner and placed my journaling label to the left of my photo. I handwrote my journaling. The last thing I did was place some enamel dots and wood veneer bits on the layout.
Make sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog for some other lovely projects from the rest of the design team!
Here are a couple of projects made for the American Crafts Design Team in the month of February! I had a lot of fun with the "Sunset at Palafox Pier" layout! I used a bunch of different mists and then layered some stitching on top using the new Amy Tangerine stitching templates!
I have a little mini book up on the Lawn Fawn Blog today that I made using a Punky Sprouts mini album! Punky Sprouts was generous enough to share some goodies with our team and I used the new "Daphne's Closet" in conjuction with it! I used lots of watercolor paints on the base pages of the mini book! You can see all of the inside pages on the Lawn Fawn Blog today!
